HIS Price Reductions at OcUK!! - January Sale (Further Reductions)!!

I'd like one of the his 1950pro's but i'm not sure on my psu. I'm using a Soltek 3801a SFF, it's got a 250w psu. I know it's not a lot but supposedly the sff psu's are pretty decent. what are my chances?

Second that, gona sell an x1900 XTX to get an x1950 XTX that is exactly the same, what a waste of time.

Its not exactly the same.

The X1950 XTX Has newer ram, but its barely any quicker than the X1900 XTX ,

X1900 XTX >>> X1950 XTX Is not worth it.

Same performance wise, just take yer HSF on and write a + on the core with a pen, and the GDDR4 doesn't make a jot of difference either, absolute waste, the x1950 XTX is just a cash in, all it is is an x1900 with GGDR 4 ram slapped on it instead of GDDR3, and for ATi to say 'We got the first GDDR4 card out', and also so they can rip ppl off by charging more for it when its actually the same performance, 'they'll never know', pity they did though and bought up the much cheaper x1900's instead.

How very true. £300 plus just so you can have GDDR4 on your X1950XTX card and the slowest GDDR4 at that. Now with the Nvida 8800GTS and a DX10 card at around the £270/300 mark AMD/ATI had to drop it in price. Which just so happens to be very similar to the old X1900XT`s prices. :D :D

Hi there

It gets even better as now we have both the HIS X1950 Pro Turbo in 256 and 512MB versions at very impressive prices.

Were the only UK etailor to have these in stock I believe and for the price these are an absolute bargain. Maybe soon our competitors will catch up. :D
