Hit a pheasant. What animals have you collected?

Pigeon flew into the front wheel of my motorbike at about 40mph and exploded with all the bits going into the radiator, it looked like my bike had just got very hungry when I pulled over and had a look.

I've hit loads of bunnies, birds & a couple of cats, one cat totally flattened unfortunately (the other ran off, no idea if it was o.k. or not :( ). The absolute worst was a badger, like hitting a ****ing breeze block left in the road, damaged my wheel & suspension to the tune of about £500 back in....1998ish I think?. I'd hate to think the cost of the repair now!

The most scary has to be a seagull ricocheting off my crashhelmet when on my motorbike, a good advert for sticking to the speed limit! Any faster & it would have knocked me off backwards!

Considering the huge amount miles I cover out in the wilds of Norfolk so far I have only managed to hit 2 pheasants. One flew up, hit the top of the drivers side of the cab and then bounced off into a field. The other bullseye'd the chiller unit on the top of the van and seemingly vanished as I saw no feathers. I thought it was jammed between the unit and the top of the cab at first, but upon returning back the way I had came it was very very dead in the middle of the road.

Had numerous close encounters with deer, a VERY close call with a cat that shot out of a bush & across the road after a dog walked passed. I have never ever slammed the anchors on so hard, swear the van almost did an endo. My biggest grip though is with partridges, always in groups that refuse to fly and instead run down the road like nutters.

Countless rabbits, pigeons and pheasants over the years as they love the warm country lanes first thing in the morning. Managed to avoid deer and badgers but went over a cat that just rolled down the road then ran off. Also loads of smaller birds and at this moment there is a Blue Tit behind the O/S kidney grill cooked to perfection on the radiator.

On the bike I hit a dog on my test and a couple of years ago shredded a pheasant as it ran straight into my front wheel. Intestines ended up down my boot and a nice BBQ smell as it's remains cooked on the engine and exhaust down pipes. It turned into a bit of a sickly smell after a few miles. When I stopped for fuel (and to empty my boot) one of the legs was hanging down from the centre stand.

Numerous rabbits, 1 Hare (broken number plate surround), 2 Pigeons and a Bat.

Also been hit by two Pheasants, both times they flew out of the hedge and straight into the side of my car!
