Hit PC with chair but I fixed it somehow

Sorry can't find search on my phone, but my monitor has gone dead.

I caught the cables with my foot and it loses power so i check thecables and then it came back on. Not sure I actually did anything.

So I roll up and bang my pc with the chair (i do this a lot thinking about it) and yeah monitor goes dead again.

What have i done?

Plug was disconnected slightly. Plugged back in and came back on but went dead when i moved it wtf.

This is a very confusing OP and thread - can you explain step by step exactly what has happened? When you say 'dead' do you mean no power to it, or just nothing being displayed?

It is confusing.

So the monitor has power its fine. But the bootmgr fail, this is because it needs to read from the cdrom windows 7 and then boots up. I dont know why.

So the cdrom has power, it just needs to the read the cd and it doesnt.

Said bang with my chair has done something to drive and i dont see it as a loose connection

I couldnt see dvd in cmos so checked the sata cable and tried another port and now i can.

But when boot from cd comes up, press any key, nothing happens. Wtf

You normally get

'Boot from CD, press any key........'

But no dots just straight to bootmgr

Swapped DVD to master port, now works. I don't know why..
