Hitachi Capital question

Why spend your own money when you can spend someone elses...at least for a little while? :p

Anyway, finance is a viable and desired option by many people. I may well take it up because I want to build a system soon, but won't have the raw funds at hand till a few months later down the line.

That's not to say I cannot afford it, just want to leverage the flexibility the finance offers.

Heads out sand people.

This is a very wordy way of saying, "I don't have the money but still want the stuff anyway." There's nothing wrong with this but you've phrased it in a way that only a financial adviser would use.

Do you not have to be 18 to get finance?

This !!!!

In the UK, you need to be 18 or over to sign any credit agreement. If you are under the age of 18 and you sign a contract, it will not be binding.

So techniaclly if they give you the facility you are not legally obliged to pay it back as accorind to current UK Law they should never have extended you this facility to begin with

The admin fee is almost 10% of the amount being borrowed. I don't understand; do you only pay this if you do not repay in time or do you pay it regardless?

You pay that regardless.

The OP probably won't get it as they will perform a check before entering into the finance which will reveal his age.
