***** HITACHI DESKSTAR 7K3000 3TB 7200RPM INTERNAL HARD DRIVE ***** ORDER NOW!!

I'm struggling to name one period. They're rarer than hen's teeth still but should be more readily available next year.

Surely if you can stretch to 4 way SLI then you can stretch to an SSD boot drive which means no need for UEFI.

Ok so I need UEFI compliant motherboard can you tell me whats the best UEFI compliant motherboard out their? Is their one that has 4 way sli?
The sandy bridge asus boards will have uefi when they come out. I think it's next year.

You shouldn't be booting off these though if you are considering 4 way sli, rather, at least 1 ssd.

ok, drive initialised using guid, win7 ultimate (x64) os using as a storage drive.

I have an asus striker ii formula mobo and can only see 746G of this 3TB drive :'(

Please help, i have searched varios forums and read faq on the manufactureers site but still can only see 746g.

Drive is much lighter than i expected and even with the lid of the rack mount case i can hardly here it at all (even with ssd as main drive). Seems to be a v good bit of kit apart from the size prob. Id even settle for 2.2Tb rite now!

Ocuk took it back and issued a prompt refund no problems. As ever splendid service. I now have 2xWD 2tb drives waiting for my next down time to be installed :D
