This game is very well optimized, well done to IO. It's also the first game that takes advantage of the Xbox's advantage over the PS5 and stretches its legs on PC to great heights

On PS5 it runs at 3200x1800 with settings on Ultra except Shadows on Medium and locked 60fps

on Xbox it runs at 3840x2160 with settings on Ultra except shadows on High and locked 60fps

An incredible achievement, delivering stunning visuals at 4k 60fps.

And it runs absolutely balls to the walls fantastic on PC too.

RTX3090: 3840x2160 132fps with all settings on Ultra. 110fps for the rtx3080

6900xt: 3840x2160 115fps with all settings on Ultra. 105fps with the 6800xt and 89fps for the 6800

Not only is this the first game to make full use of the Xbox Series X's teraflop advantage over the PS5. But this game also has perfect core scaling on Nvidia hardware - the game runs 20% faster on the 3090 than the 3080 and that's exactly how many more cores the 3090 has - one of the only games on the market that makes full use of the next gen processing power.

I hope we get many more such games

The problem is why some games are so demanding, because not too many of them look better than this. This is a proof of what you can do with a good engine.

I’d say it’s on par with a call of duty game which the next gen consoles could also run nicely. It’s all pre scripted tunnel stuff rather than a huge open world like RDR2 or CP2076.5

On CP you get 1/3rd of FPS with worse SSR. Ok that one is open world but the distance culling is atrocious, it's not like they track every NPC and car in the game. It just runs pretty bad.

Hitman 1 and 2 were very well optimized. Hitman 2 was a beautiful game from the last gen and ran real well. Not surprised Hitman 3 runs like a dream while having this graphical upgrade too.

Looking forward to picking this up in the future.

Will the PC version get additional graphical enhancement to take advantage of the horsepower?

I'd rather the graphics be 4 times better and run the game at 4k with DLSS.

looks pretty basic, pretty low poly environments, some low textures, missing shadows etc. Probably why it's running so well
