Hitman Blood Money 360 Demo and PAL-60 Problem?

Howdy,

I have Hitman: Blood Money on the PC and loved it, and decided to download the demo from marketplace for the 360 and give it ago.

Upon downloading and trying to 'Launch' the demo it throws an error along the lines of:

"This game does not support PAL-50. Please set your display to PAL-60 in Console Settings > Display".

Well upon going to my display settings it tells me I have it in PAL-60?

I am running my 360 thru my Dell 2407 and a HD VGA Cable and have the res to 1920x1080 (I think its 1080... deffo not 1200 unfortuntely).

I dont have any problems playing any other games, and according to the GoW box this game is 60hz only too, and that runs fine?

Could it be sumin to do with the previous Dashboard update that is causing some kinda confliction with this demo? I hope so, cos I don't want to BUY a game soon and get the same problem?

Any help will be appreciated, cos I haven't a clue whats going on here!

You need to connect the 360 up to a normal TV via composite or scart (you can even use the HD component lead in SD mode), and change it in the display options to PAL 60.

Most games now seem to require PAL60, so the sooner you do it the better

Edit - misread the post, I would use the above method to double check its in PAL60 though. Its been mentioned on here loads of times, and is a known niggle.

Hmm not sure what you mean by this? Theres no way on earth im playing my 360 thru a skanky Scart, Composite cable... I'll go back to my Commodore 64 if I want graphics like that

Surely my Dell 2407 is pumping the 360 out in PAL-60 right? I have it thru a HD VGA cable, and when looking in my Display Settings it says:

1920x1080
Widescreen
PAL-60

Yet the game tells me im in PAL-50... must be a bug surely? And they havent bothered releasing a fix for it? So if I wanted to play the game I would have to buy?

No, you can switch back to VGA afterwards. You only connect it to a crappy lead while you check/change the display setting to PAL60

Of course, it could just be a bug with the Hitman Demo and the full game will be fine.

Ahh I'm with you know Nis... you can only manually select this option with the crap leads... it does it automatically with HD I suppose.

Ok I will give this a whirl... but I reckon its a bug... I hope!
