Just popped into town. Seen sega rally for sale £19.99 on the x360. Take me 10 years ago when i used to play it on the saturn, ill buy it... gfx looks good on the back and the gameplay is bound to be good.

Well i got it home and i dont know what to think of it, gameplay is ok. Graphics are rubbish to be honest so arcadey or is that what their going for?

Did i buy the right game or should have i bough colin mcrae : dirt for roughly the same money?

What do you think guys?

I think it is great. McRae looks fantastic, but on the 360 the framerate is horrible.
Sega rally looks good, the art of it is arcadey/cartoonish. But when you do final laps and jets fly over your head its it is great. My only complaints are the rear view doesn't show mud/water splashing up, and on the bonnet cam the car doesn't get dirty, other than that, it is good. Oh also the learning curve is a bit steap.

Sega Rally is an arcade-style franchise, so of course the graphics will look arcadey :p

Personally I found the game pretty dull, didn't keep me interested at all yet I play the first two games to death.

Personally I believe Arcade games should stay in the arcade, when you're not feeding a machine with coins the experience isnt the same.
