hmmm, just found out one of my older friends likes me, but shes moving back to germany leaving tomor

To cut a long story short, iv known someone for 5 years, she works here in the UK but came over from Germany in 2003, I am 26, she is 33 however she is good looking, she found a boyfriend who believe it or not is younger than me (23).

She was with him for 6 years, then they split up, as she cannot
afford to live on her own, she needs to go back to Germany to live for a while plus her dad is ill.

We have always been pals but a group of us went out on Sunday for goodbye drinks, since then we have been texting and she says shes admitted shes always had a thing for me, and regrets not saying it sooner and obviously as she was in a relationship before she couldnt take it any further. But now i know, we did hook up for abit last night

Do you also think 26me and 33her is ok? iv never been with older women :rolleyes:

get in the car and drive to hers, like a scene from a film
buy some flowers, knock on the door, give her flowers, and smash the pasty,
then go to germany with her, settle down, have german / english kids, live well in germany and drink lots of german grog !
its that simple if you want it
 
Whether or not the age difference bothers you - what will the answer achieve? Now that you know she likes you, does this mean you automatically want her and will move to Germany? =\

Not really, as I have always had a thing for her too, but nothing was done as she was in a long term relationship and I guess I drilled it in to my head that this would no way happen at the time

Nah she is a really down to earth girl, close friend to everyone and wouldnt harm a fly.

As she has loads of friends over here, and the fact that she says shes going to come back im going to keep in touch and see how things goes, im not going to get a chance to see her now.

Okay so you've liked her - and you know she's liked you for a while...

Are you willing to move to Germany?

If not, I wouldn't plough her due to wanting more... /gay :p
 
you like her, does it have potential to be a "thing"? you've known her for a while now so have you ever seen her as more than just a mate...

Go to germany, itll be a cracker of a holiday if not anything else. (if you can afford.)
 
One thing that caught my eye, the ex...is he 23 now? So he was 17 and she was 27?

Frankly my interest in your situation pales in my mind, instead I'd rather give kudos to the 17 year old :D
