hmmmmm wots better

the 1950XT 256mb will be faster!

but what resolution will you be running games at?

if it's above 1280x1024 i might be tempted to go for the 512mb and just clock it some.

Will there even be a difference at 1024 x 768 between the 2? I'd say get whichever's cheapest with your budget of £350 you metioned in another thread.

the x1950 pro with the 512meg is the cheapest and mite even be able to overclock it so its same speed as the xt or is it not worth over clockin it coz im overclocking the cpu and dont want it all to go bang! at the same time lol

You should be able to overclock it, don't know by how much, will depend how good the cooler on the card is and how good the airflow of the case is. There'll be people on here that will know much better than me what these cards are capable of so hopefully they'll help.
