Best hope you don't get one with any dead pixels. ;)

Was tempted to import one due to the prices but:

1. If you get any dead pixels then it'll be a pain in the butt (an expensive to sort out). At least if you purchased one from the UK getting a replacement from the retailer is a lot easier.

2. Pray that customs don't get hold of it! If they do, expect an additional 33% of charges added onto that £75. Would take the price up to £99, exactly the same price as buying it here.
 
how much would one cost in hong kong? my friend is a Cathy Pacific pilot and he is due in the uk sometime this week.

I use them a lot for my DVD's & cant fault them, they are however based overseas so expect customs charges on the Lite

As for DVD's I got my copies of Underworld Evolution, Ultraviolet & Hills have Eyes delivered for £8.99 each, cant say fairer than that :D

I know I could have bought my DS Lite from abroad for less than the UK price.
However two things stopped me:

1. Getting it sent back if it is faulty would be a pain
2. This is classed as a Grey Import so you've got no local warranty

Then add in the fact that C&E can add enough on to make it more expensive, I just decided that £95 delivered from Game was the best choice.
It arrived a day before the official UK release so I was happy.
