Holiday photo's

Sweet lord, I've not seen that many photographs in one go!

What do you want us to comment on here?

The shots are snapshots at best and probably hold more sentimental value to you than aesthetic value to us.

Thats the rudest reply ive ever had on ocuk

Damn man that wasn't nice

Couple of things:

1) Too many photos. Waaaaay too many.

2) Number them, or something. I can't refer to number 15 easily without making everyone else's life difficult.

3) On the whole, they're not great. A combination of not great composition and not great quality from the camera. I think the composition on numbers 15 and 31 (see what I mean :)) are quite interesting, and that have potential to be reasonable pictures. Most I feel could benefit from a bit more contrast though.

4) Think about what you want from your photos - are you just after snaps that serve as a memory aid, or are you after something more artistic? By posting them on the internet for everyone to see and comment on implies the latter, in which case you should probably think about what makes a artistically "good" photo. There's tonnes of stuff to read about what's pleasing on the eye (rule of thirds, leading lines etc).

Fine , it was purelly holiday shots... Thought this was a photography section , not a i can do better than you section.

And again yes it was rude

Right.....well good luck with your photography career, I'm sure you'll improve a lot with that sort of attitude.

I would hardly call it a really harsh reply.

Its one mans opinion and who knows, he could be wrong. I dont think he was because I have read many of Mrsix's replies.

This sub forums gets miss read as a "random pictures forum" sometimes. Its not really for taking a snap of this and that and showing it off in a thread but more for people interested in taking photos and seeking advice on improvements.

I never saw them.
