Hi guys, Want to get my Dad a home brewing kit - beer basically. We have all the equipment.

Could someone recommend me a reliable site please? I dont entriely trust these ones that send you to another site to make payment.

thanks

Quick reply : http://www.leylandhomebrew.com/

I haven't used the site or the shop, however I can confirm that this is a genuine little store with friendly staff within, it's been there for years, and has a good reputation locally.

I've never actually homebrewed and can't vouch for the quality of stuff, but the shop itself is chock full of all sorts of homebrew-y things, and I'd be gobsmacked if it wasn't the best gear.

If I was gonna order anything online, I'd order here.

:-)

Beer kits (as in tins of a treacle like substance you just add water and yeast to) or all grain?

If it's the former you're after I can vouch for the Woodfordes Wherry. It's the only beer I've "made" and it turned out quite well, I think.
