At the moment I have my hifi kit in my bedroom but after not being able to use it at night or any other unsociable times I've decided to put it in a heated room in the back of my garden. The room is 5mx3m and I'm basically going to turn it into my own home cinema.

A 32" or 37" is more than big enough for the space and at that size I won't need 1080p but will be using it as my primary monitor for my HTPC. The only feature I know I'll will need is 1:1 pixel mapping but is there anything else I should be looking for? At first I'll be running DVI to HDMI but as I think my 7800gtx is broken I'll probably be replacing it soon.

I would love to get a 5.1 setup but can't really justify it in such a small space and my 2.1 bookshelf setup should be more than enough

I also have a spare Kenwood Trio KA 5700amp that I found but some speakers for it and have no idea what to pair up with them. I would gladly go second hand for some vintage speakers to pair up with the amp or should I get some cheap newer bookshelfs? It would help me loads if someone has any reccomendations. The amp is rated AC240v 50/60Hz 350w.

My trio KR5010 sounds absolutely brilliant with KEF Cresta 2 speakers. Just made a thread on them - £50 off ebay.

Just a heads up, according to http://www.fmtunerinfo.com/oldp9-37-57amps.gif it's only 40wpc.

Looks good but I might even consider buying some Kef iq1's and pairing them with my CA-540A and using my warfedale 9.1s on the kenwood.

The ratings I gave were on a sticker on the back just posted them in case they meant something to someone.
