Home Network Delivery messed up my delivery !

Hi,

Bought a quite an expensive item and was suppose to be sent to me monday, wasn't home so got a card which is fair enough.

Called to get it resent to my work for Tuesday, nothing came Tuesday and found out that it was not put on the system.

So made sure it would be sent out Wednesday, just found out that it has been sent to the wrong address as someone I have never heard of has signed for it.

They said they will call me back tomorrow to find out what's going on and track down the parcel, I said if it has been opened I won't accept it,

What should I / can I do about this, just pretty annoying as I want my package !!
 
maybe complain to the company you bought the expensive item from and see if they can refund the cost of delivery (if it was not standard i.e. next day or something) and also to let them know the couriers their using are rubbish.
 
The contract with the delivery company is with the suppliers.
Also SOGA states supplier is responsible till you receive package.

No point getting mad, these things happen from time to time. Just contact suppliers and explain what has happened.
