Home Technologies Integration!??!

Hi all,

Am trying to do some research for my course and it has so far been fruitless, just wondering if any of you can offer some useful links about this (HTI) or failing that a simple definition of it so I can research it further?

I've seen that mate, but thanks. It doesn't really offer what I'm after seen as I don't want a course on it... more I've got to write about it and can't find anything useful.

Did you look at the HTI Industry page?

It gives quite a good overview of it and provides enough information for you to go off an research things on, i.e. the advantages and disadvantages. For example security of your home if it is all networked up and connected to the internet. Another issue is coming up with an industry standard so that equipment from different manufacturers can communicate.

What is it that you need to write about?

Carry out a detailed investigation into HTI, what is it can full or partial integration be achieved etc etc and then other bits and pieces.

Things like "can full or partial integration be achieved and if so how can this be accomplished" really throw me - because as stupid as it sounds I have no idea what this mean!
