Spotted this earlier and found it amusing that someone is so serious about this madness that he's willing to sink $20,000 into proving it live via his youtube channel.

Predicting a total failure on this but even if he manages to get it off the ground it may end up being his last daredevil stunt.

This will actually be the second time he’s constructed and launched a rocket. He jumped on a private property in Winkelman, Arizona, on Jan. 30, 2014 , and traveled 1,374 feet. He collapsed after that landing — the G-forces taking a toll — and needed three days to recover.

I don't believe in science,” said Hughes, whose main sponsor for the rocket is Research Flat Earth. “I know about aerodynamics and fluid dynamics and how things move through the air, about the certain size of rocket nozzles, and thrust. But that’s not science, that's just a formula. There's no difference between science and science fiction.

Dunna worry fella, science believes in you. So here's something else that's 'just a formula' F = m Δv/Δt

Darwin will get him eventually.

I do wonder, if the world is flat, which country or city do they believe is on the edges and which place is the centre of the world?

Obviously they believe america is at that centre as everything revolves around that:D. I still dont understand how people think its flat, surely these types of people should be rounded up by men in white coats?

This will be fun. I can just imagine the newspaper reports...

'Police recovered the shattered remains of Mr Hughes from the wreckage within hours. In a cruelly ironic twist of fate, his body had been squashed flat...'

The money made from his YouTube channel will cushion the blow of finding out the earth is round....won't cushion the landing if it goes wrong though.
