Homeplug question.... Two devices into one plug?

If I want two devices in my lounge to have internet access via a homeplug? Do I have to use two plugs - ie: Each device needs their own plug?

So would I have to have one plug where my router is, and then two in my lounge?

Or is there an simpler way of both my lounge devices sharing the plug?

You can use one plug. Buy a switch and this will connect both devices to the same plug.

I'm using a Netgear FS605 and it works great.

5 watt maximum, 3.3 watts in standby for my Devolo ones. Not sure about my switch, probably not much as its built into my router. (ah, 12v at 1 amp apparently so 12watts.)

Hmmmm... So that would be another 20 or so watts all day long...

you can get routers with the homeplug built in, pretty easy to configure them as a switch if your short on wall plugs
