CBR is a 4 stroke isn't it? 4 Strokes sound better to most people. It won't go as well as a 2 stroke though.

The Cbr 125 is a 4 stroke but also a single cyclinder so it sounds rubbish. A RS in my opinion sounds more race like and has resonable performance.

Keep away from 4 stroke 125s - it's about the only time I'd say a 2 stroke is better than a 4! But the RS is the one to go for. However they do sound like anemic lawn mowers :/

4 Strokes are too slow :p

4 Stroke Lower BHP, Even Power Distribuition - Longer Lasting Engine

2 Stroke More BHP Than a 4, Crazy Power Band, - Engine Dies if not looked after.

With the two stroke though the smell of the burnt oil drives me nuts :D

I went on a long ride with some m8's once and i was following them all morning (1AM) and the smell was heaven :D

Try sitting in the on-lane of an MX track for five or six minutes behind 8 strokers warming up!

Not fun!

maybe not that colour but yes the rs 125 2006 :) thing i wonna know is what race pipes would be good for it ? if you say it will make it sound better ?

Buying a second hand 2stroke can be a money pit. Atleast with a new one you have warrenty....

Also, CBR125's sound great with a race can, kinda like a V-Twin or Super Motard, shame they dont go like one.

id buy a cagiva mito tbh:) even though they have chocolate gearboxes :0 they look the sex for a 125 and go well.
that or i would get an old suzuki rgv125 gamma like i used to have, loved that back more than the rs125 i had :)
looks liek a bigger bike

i chose the nsr over rs.

i made so much hassle over overclockers in choosing and i didnt regret that.

when you buy it, make sure you put 50 quid extra on the budget so u can afford another 3 spark plugs and fully senthetic 2 stroke oil.

my nsr 125 has a power band from around 9000 onwards and i love the sound around there.
Although around 7000 it meets the resonace of my handle bars and the vibration makes my hands feel funny and i hate it...

and plus with 125 you have to worry about lowering gears a lot otherwise you will find your bike going nowhere and engine going nearly bonkers
