Fairly rough on the reverse.

I can see IMA being on the next Type-R. When Honda started the IMA car they were made and sold at a loss I believe and they came with free servicing for so long due to the new nature of the equipment etc. They've obviously got it this far and it's working well. If they can give it some sex appeal like this I wouldn't turn my nose up at it in the next Type-R.

But power isn't everything, a lot reviewers seem to rave the fun factor of the car, which in my books is more important. If I read correctly this model has 200bhp? that is still plenty. The old mk2 crx had 160bhp and those flew pretty well, and were brilliant drivers car, granted they were probably lighter cars.

Only thing off putting I find is the lack of a proper high revving VTEC y0!

S1 Elise only has 118bhp in a ~670kg chassis and you can't really say they are slow with 5.7s to 60. EP3 Type-R is 1200kg with 197bhp and about a second slower to 60 than the Elise. This is not that far away is it? If the chassis is set up right, it would be bang on the money for a Type-R branded car IMO.

yea but it doesnt need to look like a t-rex on wheels though does it?

infact i dont even think the RR Civic has a spoiler quite like that? its total NFS all over.

To be fair with so much power and roughly 10x the torque of average Type-R's the wing will have a big part to play.

Have you seen the other stuff people show at SEMA? It's a tuner show so everything is a bit OTT.

There s agood chance there won't be another Civic Type R, Honda have stopped the S2000, and stopped the FD2, and the FN2 is being stopped here as well isn't it?

This looks nice, if they can strip some weight, maybe around 1050-1150kg it could be great.

Oh I think there is a good chance there will be a CR-Z R. ;)

It's 175bhp not the 300bhp it looks. Sheep in wolfs clothing is DOING IT WRONG.

Oh and it's green, that's gay cuz Top Gear said so and they are the law.
