Is anyone watching this (Channel 2)?

It's exploring what really makes people intelligent (as opposed to just the IQ test). It's suggesting creativity is more important than previously believed but also that it's not just restricted to the 'arty' types. The quantum physicist seems more creative than all of them! :)
 
Yeah I'm watching this passively.

Creativity is something we all possess to an extent (imaginaton), what a lot of us lack however is the ability to project it.

It was a bit disappointing.

"People are all individuals and have many different kinds of intelligence, so don't judge anyone by anything they do well or badly because everyone is magic and fluffy and comfy."

There, the programme in one sentence :p

Seriously though, it wasn't anything new.
 
I watched it. It was quite entertaining, but didn't really tell you anything that most people don't already know. For instance intelligence has many facets, some artistic etc.

To be honest I don't really appreciate artistic "intelligence". The only way people judged those paintings was on how they looked, thus the best looking painting won.
 
In my opinion Horizon 'went west' a long time ago. I've never been able to truly enjoy it since they decided to relaunch it with the tagline 'Pure Science - Pure Drama'. :(

I've always had a nagging feeling it's been dumbed down as a result.

www.uknova.com is a tracker that has u.k t.v uploaded on a daily basis, that program will be there later tonight or tomorrow, i use it all the time, it seems to be down temporarily at moment, superb tracker tho get any u.k t.v that isn't on dvd
