Horror movies?

Want to watch one but am a big girl when it comes to gore etc.

I love suspense movies i.e. Loved 'The Strangers', but had to skip the ending as I cannot watch torture.

Watched 'Ils' (Them) also very similar without the gore which I also enjoyed.

So what else do you recommend, just no saws, chainsaws, knives etc etc?

Not really sure if it's horror as in what you're looking for... but "The Thing" is pretty damn awesome.

I would imagine suspense is what you're after rather than horror.

I've been watching a few of the french horror films lately - 'Switchblade Romance' and 'Martyrs' are both pretty cool. I nearly had to stop watching Martyrs.

Drag me to hell is one of the best horror flicks ive seen for a very long time...am pretty sure its out on dvd and blu ray or maybe its next week...

It is stupendously jumpy though. Theres no letting up! Its not like other horrors where it will build up suspense and then break, relieving you somewhat. Is relentless!

Ive got a copy of drag me to hell on its way, ill watch it at night about 11:00 when everyones in bed and ill have the light out aswell.

more Thriller than horror but still movies you must watch, and usually I dont watch Horror either

I started to watch Drag me to Hell a few weeks back........watched it until the scene in the car.

Orphanage was a good film.

Rented this out in the end, http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0815245/. Good watch but not scary in the slightest.

Dark Water (have only seen jap version)
The Grudge (have only seen usa version)

No gore, high suspense.

Personally, I hated Drag Me To Hell, thought it was crap
