Hot New BMW M135i

I am really liking this the more I read about it. If/when I move closer to work I am planning to get back into an M so this is a definite contender.

It's not actually an M car though, so if you want to get back into an M this probably shouldn't be a contender.

It's no more M than the 1995 328i Sport was. Infact perhaps less given that the 95 328i Sport at least had an actual LSD?

Not that this is an issue - I like it precisely because it ISN'T an M. It occupies a useful space below the proper M cars offering performance without the M-costs.

I'm still not a fan on the styling but I do like the interior and theres no arguing with the performance. The price seems genuinely reasonable compared to the competition, especially when you see the price of a fully specced up JCW mini!!

I shall rephrase that getting back into a BMW M Sport car, possibly an M or a new M performance variant such as this, depending on 1M used prices. Seems like a good all round fun and practical car at a great price.

Ah, so not genuinely sporty then, good to know, I'll take it off my list.

A Ferrari with 8 Previous owners? Yes Please, me, me, me, me!!!

Not that this would have any relevance with the topic but it is not uncommon for exotic cars to change many owners throughout their life. They are rarely used as daily drivers, a lot of them might have them as "garage queens" or "weekend cars" until the owners get bored, realize they hardly ever used them or can proudly say that "I have owned a Ferrari" and them sell them on.

Back to our 135iM here I can't help thinking that is pretty good value for money.
A decent 123d gets close to £29k and this is a completely different animal.
I don't think there should be much debate between this and a Golf GTI (for example) if they are priced at similar ££.
