Hotmail replaced by Outlook.com

What do you mean it didn't have your emails.
Many bugs in this still, basically I want to trial it but it just isn't possible to use.
They now have 3 active products called Outlook. It is just confusing.
If you use @Edu, you are totally unable to access this new Outlook, because it tries to make you use Outlook Web App which isn't available for your new @outlook email. Because you access both by going to Outlook.com! Log out, doesn't log out fully and you still can't access. Deleting cookies everytime is a way around this, does anyone want to do this? No.
Validating an email address that you import can be verified inside Outlook, defeating the purpose of the "verification email".
In Internet Explorer, their own browser, you cannot select text inside an email.
Some good ideas in it though, specially allowing everybody access to alias', and it is very quick.

Prepare to get spammed to death. I got a @hotmail.co.uk when they were first announced and it was unusable as people just used it as a valid email address when they just wanted quotes and stuff!
I must be doing something wrong then. Had a good 30 attempts so far, trying to avoid numbers.

hotmail.com still works
edit: meh, it did until I opened outlook.com :/
edit2: Ha, it's ridiculously broken in Opera.
Seems to be working fine here for me in Opera. Aren't Microsoft moving away from Silverlight and towards HTML5 for pretty much everything so there shouldn't be a problem with it in Opera.
Edit: Eurgh, never mind. It worked when trying to create a new e-mail and now the whole thing has stopped responding.
With new or old email?
I created a new email and had one welcome email, I then linked my old hotmail account and it instantly showed all he emails.
Just give it 20 minutes or so while it reconfigures.
