We've got a house alarm that we never really use, but it seems to have suddenly decided to be annoying today.
It keeps going off over and over again, which as you can imagine is somewhat infuriating.

It says the battery is flat, but we don't know where the battery is, how to stop the alarm going off, or even what make the alarm is

Help? :(

We've got what appears to be a control box under the bath, which has electrocution warnings on it. Not sure I fancy taking that apart without really knowing what I am doing....

It's saying the battery is flat, so I'm going to try turning the power off at the mains and see if that helps at all.....
If that then works, that leaves me without power.... yay....

We have a battery under the control unit (where you tap the code in) and a backup one in the control box under the stairs.

Perhaps contact the service provider/manufacturer?

Seems it's now fixed.

After ringing parents to ask for suggestions if they know ANYTHING about the alarm. It turns out my step dad remembered seeing one of the panic alarm buttons was pushed in earlier in the week and now decided it might be a good time to mention that - cue me finding the key and resetting it. Why the alarm didn't go off earlier in the week I have no idea.

It has however led to finding another issue in the house, it seems half of the electrics in the fuse box are connected up wrongly - very handy.

I had tried finding out the make earlier, but all it has on it was a number - nothing concrete. Seems its all fixed now so I can relax and stop being driven ******* crazy by the alarm going off at random intervals.

I bet your neighbours love you :D
One side hate us already for childish reasons. The fact that one of there kids is a 18 year old yob who sits in his car with music blaring at 11pm revving his chavmobile off of the limiter is fine apparently.

I can think of better places to install something like that
Yeh tell me about it!
Especially worrying when all the sockets in the whole house are on the same breaker :/
