63 square metres is a decent size.

You might struggle to get water though which is the big issue.

Otherwise if it has access to electricity then you could easily spend the other £20k turning that into a nice home if you know how to use a saw, hammer and a drill.

There's no way a first time buyer would be able to get a mortgage on that with the view on spending 20k on it to turn it into a home

There's plenty of people that have converted boats, trailers and all sorts into homes.

There was even someone on TV who converted a triple garage or old barn.

So it's not exactly outwith the realms of possibility.

Did someone not sell the world's smallest property in terms of width in London recently where it was essentially just a small gap between two buildings which had been converted into a townhouse.

LOL just saw this - people getting so desperate they are selling the verge?

You can buy useless parts of land everywhere.

Even after a housing estate has been built they will sell random parts which weren't financially viable for building on.

If you owned the property right next to said land then obviously you might be interested in extending your border but since it's 0.6m wide I don't think anyone is selling that for housing purposes. Unless it's a capsule style hotel.
