Following on from my other electrical thread which seemed to spark a bit of a debate. I am now wondering about a battery, again just out of curiosity.

I understand that electricity flows because of potential difference in voltages between the positive and negative ends of the battery with the positive having the higher voltage. Also I understand that electrons are negative and would therefore flow out from the negative terminal to the positive terminal when a circuit is made.

But which way does current and charge flow in a battery circuit? I.e. from positive or negative or vice versa?

In regards to flow of current, ACTUAL current flow is negative to positive yes, but CONVENTIONAL current flow is positive to negative. So you might come across that.
