Perhaps we should organise an OcUK TF2 night on the server. I remember we did a few months ago, and we were playing each night for a week or so.
I'd be up for that.

Ive always wanted to get into it, but it just always seemed a bit too much like hard work. Is there tutorial servers so you play without getting slagged off for being a noob and that teach you what to do with each class?
I'll set up a steam event now if people want? Say, 8pm?
Never liked tf2 myself.
just felt meh.
dunno i prefer cs/bf games where guns actually seem to do dmg.

This is exactly how I felt, gave it a try, didnt care much about the looks really but every class I tried just felt very underwhelming, just really weak weapons. a lot rave about it but it really wasnt my cup of tea.

It's also achievement based which means most people just go on hacked servers and get all the achievements so that they can compete at the level everyone else is now at (i.e. it's not balanced because if you start late then you can't really catch up).
It's an average game IMHO.

I've been playing this since beta and still use the original weapons on all classes, they are the best. The new weapons rarely have an advantage over the originals they are just different.
never played it and saw it was on offer today half price, installed it and my god is it fun ahah. very fast paced, very nice gameplay. just thought id share this with you![]()

I think the main reason for this is that public games are more about fun than killing and "srs, omg my kdr is only 3" type of players might not enjoy it as much.

I think the best thing about it other than the balanced, fun game play is the fact that Valve are constantly developing/updating it which keeps it fresh and new.
