Because it's PR, and it'll come from the Xbox guys as well, as they're in competition, and therefore want to make the other look bad etc. It's all banter and anybody that really follows the consoles and tries to be as neutral as possible will see that they're talking a lot of crap most of the time.

People say any publicity is good publicity, but i fear Sony really are getting bashed all over the market and im sure it will affect their reputation in this round of consoles.

I remember hearing that prior to ps1, ps2& psp launch and it appears not ot materialise all the time...

It doesnt really matter what they say about each other. In the end it just comes down to how the console will perform and how good the games on it are. Thats all that matters. I think the only thing Sony have to worry about is the price tag of PS3, but they will probably sell out regardless.

Oh my god, sony stole ideas from other maufacturers!? What should they have done, ignored technological advances and console selling ideas and just released a brick to avoid being slated? If you want to start saying things like that then MS, sony, Nintendo, all the car manufacturers in the world, all electronics companies, toy companies, internet sites, you, me, we are all thieves! Blast our souls.

Well as soon as I saw the launch price I was never going to buy a PS3... no wai.

Infact the only reason I would have ever considered a PS2 was for TIF (This is Football) which is the most amazing football game ever!
