How did you arrive at your current hair style?

I go to the barber ... he asks if I want the usual ... I say yes then 15mins later I leave with less hair.

Same here for me as well. Although I always have mine done when I go home from uni for the odd weekend. Mainly because my barber knows how I like it, and I can't be bothered to have to explain how I like it to a different barber every time. Also I find he is the best source of information on what has been going on back home while I have been away.

had long hair, got bored at dying it and having to straighten it every day.

got it cut short.

go to my friends mum whos a hair dresser and ask for a trim.

I always had long curly hair like Marc Bolans but in the late 90s I had psoriasis all over my head and I've had a number 1 since then that I cut myself.
I still have psoriasis so I can't grow it any longer.

most recent haircut was a 0.5 with clippers on the sides and a trim down to 2cm or so on the back and top. might try an undercut on the sides next time.

How did I arrive at my current hair style?

Neglect.

It's truly bad.

And I did 'arrive' at it.

I shave my own head. Left school at 16 to do an engineering apprenticeship, mum told me that now i'm working i'll have to pay for my own things. Thought '**** that' and bought a head shaver so i've not been to the barbers since I was 16. My hair grows stupidly fast so i've saved myself a fortune in hair cut's as the clipper are only £15 a pop and last a good 2-3 years.

So reading between the lines, Mum used to cut your hair?
