How did you arrive at your current hair style?

I go to the barber ... he asks if I want the usual ... I say yes then 15mins later I leave with less hair.

Same here for me as well. Although I always have mine done when I go home from uni for the odd weekend. Mainly because my barber knows how I like it, and I can't be bothered to have to explain how I like it to a different barber every time. Also I find he is the best source of information on what has been going on back home while I have been away.

I used to have loads of hair, but got a bit fed up, and now it's 5 on the top and 4 on the sides. My beard is longer than my hair.

I always had long curly hair like Marc Bolans but in the late 90s I had psoriasis all over my head and I've had a number 1 since then that I cut myself.
I still have psoriasis so I can't grow it any longer.

so "short back'n'sides and loads off the top" normally gets the job done.

This, don't even style it anymore tbh when it gets longer, just can't be arsed. I just run a wet hand through and it stays to one side

It was awful and long (well I say that now). But it had been long for a long time, so didn't know what length to go down to, just cut it shortish, and when it grew out picked a length that worked.

Thought '**** that' and bought a head shaver so i've not been to the barbers since I was 16. My hair grows stupidly fast so i've saved myself a fortune in hair cut's as the clipper are only £15 a pop and last a good 2-3 years.
