Basically title... but too expand a little:

I find I like a lot of music. I typically prefer rock / metal but find I like quite the diverse range.

Everything from.

Classical (some of Beethoven for example) to Sting, to Lighter rock (Meat Loaf) to heavier (metaillica, disturbed, so on).

Currently been enjoying Kings of Leon a bit, and John Mayers gravity helps relax me.

I also will probably get a few "You're gay!" but also like some stuff like Robbie Williams (Feel / angels / come undone in particular) and some Savage Garden.

So are you like this or you prefer one type of music?

Mine is extremely diverse.

Starting with Blues I like muddy waters, the doors, clapton.

Then some jazz. John Coltrane, phelonius monk(if that's how you spell it)

Then some metal. Mastodon, slayer, Opeth, Black Sabbath.

Prog Rock? Sure, pink floyd, led zeppelin, mars volta, RUSH (no1 favourite band)

Noise... I like frank zappa and captain beefheart. Then some more noise I like 'cutting pink with knives' and I love classical music. All kinds, I also like johnny cash and what not country music is awesome aswell as lynyrd skynyrd...

Then at the bottom I love the smiths and NICK CAVE... So very ecclectic taste I have. I also like a lot of proper scottish indie bands like mersault, withered hand. Very divers me thinks.

I like some Hip-Hop (Jay-Z, Eminem, Fort Minor) a lot of Pop (Lady Gaga, Britney, etc), some techno (I guess Moby (?) Orbital) some Rock/Metal (Marilyn Manson) and some psuedo folk stuff as well.

Only genres I really never listen to at all would be stuff like Jazz. My tastes aren't really diverse at all as I like mostly chart/popular stuff.

Mine is diverse. I will listen to anything though it's predominantly trance, with a bit of techno in there.

I love classical, jazz, rock etc., though the only thing I won't listen to is metal and punk and those sort of genres. I don't mind shouting, I don't like screaming.

Well I do enjoy some classical, I think Belinda Carlisle is a great singer, I also enjoy Dido's music, if enjoy is a word you can use for someone who's song's are pretty depressing ;), and my favourite group of all time, and my favourite genre of music as well, is the Sex Pistols and punk ( I was around when the Sex Pistols were making records, young but my older brother was into them so I got to listen to their stuff). I also like Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg and Eminem's earlier stuff.

not really sure tbh, Im into metal, and hip hop (but none of my friends have heard of the artists for some reason) and some drum and bass

I'd like to think I have a diverse taste in music. Melodic death metal to drum and bass, round to jazz, then classical. The only things I'd say I don't like is hip hop, dance music and pop music, which unfortunately seems to be the 3 genres which mostly fill the charts.

One thing I learned from online dating is that everyone thinks they have diverse taste in music.

A very good point: every proper music fan knows that it's best to like everything - but nobody does. There's always a genre or five that you won't listen to. I like a fair few but Brit Pop is out (I like the Beatles too much to tolerate rip-offs), so is most dance music etc. That said, I've never found a type of music where I don't like some of it - even C&W.

Mine is very diverse! I like all sorts of music! I listen to RnB, Metal, Alternative, Classical, Dance, Electronic, Pop and Rock :p

pretty much like everything that isn't chavvy or RnB/Rap.

I like everything from black metal to dubstep to EBM to electro etc.

I'd say my tastes are quite diverse. I don't like Jazz. Country and Western and not too keen on rap. But I do like artists as diverse as Tracy Chapman and Carol Kidd to Yellow to Rammstein/Anthrax/Dream Theatre!

Well currently on my Ipod I have the likes of Machine Head, Fear Factory and System of a Down mixed with Vanessa Carlton and Naturally 7 so pretty diverse I would say.

My cars built in HD also has a diverse selection of music from prodigy to Michael Jackson although I will state that they were on there when I bought the car and some of the stuff isn't particularly to my taste, I need to get around to deleting it at some point.

Although that said at the moment I am listening mostly to the Mad Capsule Markets.

Not very diverse.

RnB - Grime - Dubstep - Funky house - Any kind of Instrumental including Orchestral.

Dont really listen to anything else.
