Hello there.

I have a dvd burner etc, and i just got some DVD-R disks, 4.7GB and i have a Video_TS folder which has all the files in, and i tryed burning with nero, i add all the files to the dvd thing, and then it goes to the burn page and the burn button to begin burning is greyd out, i cant click it :S

any ideas how i can solve this?

Thanks

Is your writer drive selected?
if you're burning DVD-Videos I would use IMGTOOLBURN, it makes the discs more compatible with DVD-Video players. I burnt a standard DVD-Video with Nero (\Video folder type) it worked on the PC but not on the DVD-Video player. Wrote it off with IMGTOOLBURN and it worked on both.

If you have made a compilation with Nero and are trying to burn it but can’t click the burn button because it's grayed out, the problem is more than likely due to the wrong recorder being selected.

Click Recorder --> Choose Recorder (or alternatively hit CTRL+R) and select your DVD/CD recorder. Sometimes Nero can have Image Recorder selected. You may need to download some ASPI drivers if you can't see your recorder in the list.

Another possible problem is that your recorder isn't ready. Restarting your machine might solve this problem.

well, it wasnt greyd out, i click burn and it said failed at 4x speed. and now its greyd out again lol. what now :(

edit: iv rebooted yet again, and it is now still greyd out :S

edit2: iv rebooted,.. Again, and since it failed it wants to stay greyd out still :'(

OH MY GOD.

okay sorry for tripple posting, but OMG.. i was doing it totally wrong, instead of placing the files inside of the video_ts folder it makes for you, i was "accidently  " putting them outside of the 2 folders it auto makes.. and thats solved the greyd out button

but, its still failing, any ideas whats up with that?

thanks

Not that this will help, but my CD-RW refuses to make CD-Rs any more, when it tries, it will only allow 4x and fails with a 'power calibration error' I still haven't found a proper fix for it...

yep, i can burn cds fine and i can play dvds.

i just took a screenshot, the left of the picture shows after its failed to work, and on the right, is the dvd disk pie chart supposed to say 0 bytes for everything?

i seriously have no idea what im doing with this kind of stuff lol, erm :S hmm
