How do i defeat Necrons!!!

Playing Dow dark crusade's with my m8 online against the necron we got uber wooped, I was eldar and he was tau. How the hell do we defeat them!!! the only damage i could do was with dark reapers.
Help!

necrons are really suseptable to thinks like heavy bolters etc that have high ROF but lower damage

I tend to use "hit and run" to take advantage of the Necrons' slow speed.

Anything like a Necron Lord or an Engaged Monolith and you should concentrate fire on them as a priority and hope for the best.

also tau have uber range but not enough los, keep spotter teams close by to increse range

if ** against the normal robots, go close combat. if he has them close combat units with the scythe like weapon keep at range, tho ive had 1 unit of them last in an ork base for about 20 mins, i could replace them faster than he could kill and he had max units.


if they got the big pyramid thing, jus throw everything at it till it stops

for tau use the long range skyship... the explosive shells will take out *** infantry as the would go sprawling.. use the missile barrage ability carefully.

as eldar.. teleport in to take out the peons and cause havoc... use suicide teams to disrupt his build
