can i do it in itunes? I can't seem to find the option to do that.

You will need to use a application to get the pictures from the phone.
1. Adobe Photoshop Elements for Windows or Adobe Photoshop Album for Windows
2. Windows Camera wizard (Should Already be on your computer)
Do it in iPhoto.
Edit: You use Windows, don't you?
I just connect the IPhone to my PC and it shows up as an external drive in my computer. just go into in there and you get access to the photos just click putting in a camera's flash card.

You could also do it through FTP, although this requires a jailkbroken phone.
What OS ?
the iphone is not showing as a HD in my computer for some reason, my ipod classic is though.
Don't worry thats normal. They removed the ability to use it as a 3rd party device (i.e. external storage) when the iPhone/Touch came out.![]()
it should actually show up as a camera device, not an external drive. the two are treated differently in windows, although there are various ways of treating it as a drive. one is to use a program called total commander and a special plugin for iphones and touches.
