Ive made over 16 calls now and keep getting people that dont understand me or i dont understand them!

I got my mac code in february yet they are still charging me for internet acess. One person even said there was no cancellation on the line!

BT gave me the mac for excesive use and i went to ukonline

Anyone help me with this frustrating problem!

All i want is some one english who do i ring?

This is a common problem with lots of companies today. I know how you feel and not being able to communicate effectively with someone isn't racism!

BT Broadband continued to charge a friend of mine after he migrated to Eclipse.

Phone the sales line if they have one, they tend to be uk based. Then just moan and whinge that you dont want to be transferred to india.

About time i heard others doing it.
Just insist that you speak to a person whose native language is English.
Put this way it sounds less racist but basically i don't care what they think as long as i get to speak to someone i can understand.
I state that my money is involved and i will only discuss with someone whose native langauge is English. **** em.
The more people do this the more likely they will maintain some English based call centres.
Surely if as customers we refuse to deal with these fractured English speaking people they now employ then they will have to change there policy.

There is nothing more frustrating than having an important issue to sort out and then being transferred to some bangladeshi call center where communication grinds to a standstill. It often takes 2 or 3 calls to do the task. Aghh.

try 0845 600 7020 (then i think it's * for residential) then opt 1 for sales.....pretty sure they are still UK based

How are they charging you. If direct debit - cancel it.

I paid for 1 month that i shouldnt of done and then cancelled it but they keep sending DD forums and letters. I dont want to get any black marks against my name

You can go further than that with DD. Tell your bank that they've been charging you erroneously since the cancellation date and you want your money back. The bank should immediately refund the payments into your account and it's up to the payee (BT in the case) to prove you actually owe the money.

Yeah, it is a total joke we have the Sales depts in the UK but when you need support you phone India.

Can't resist mentioning Zen is and always will be in the UK for as long as I can imagine.

That's good news as I plan on migrating to them from AOL whose customer support (which is based in India) is also terrible :(
