How Do I Make a Mouse SMoother?

Got a Logitech U0007, when i move it over the desk's top [ie physically, not the pointer movement on the puter desktop] it just doesn't feel slick. are there any tricks to reducing friction or whatever? seen some replacement feet/"skates" advertised for other models but nothing for the U0007 it seems.

The OCUK mats are really good if you like cloth ones.

If you are already using a mat then maybe you do need to replace the feet.

Clean the underside, those smooth plastic pads. Or change them after a while

not using a mat, it's not practical for my workspace. the desktop is clean and smooth Formica-y stuff though so should have produced smooth movements, i thought.
i'll give its paws a proper wiping when i get in, see if that helps.

You can get teflon pads that you stick on your mouse feet, used to work well when I had a glass mouse mat.

Same here been running a ocuk matt since I bought my logitech 502 2 years ago and the feet are still like new.

Polish the desk with furniture polish. It works wonders.
