How do I play videos on my site?

Fasthosts charge £5 a month for streaming video but can this be done for free and what do I need to do it?

Click on my sig and then click on MEDIA. It would be nice to be able to click on a song and then it plays in a window.

You could either include a windows media plugin or similar into the page...but what about people who don't have WMP or browsers which don't support the plugin.

The best way is to use flash...it can compress the audio and stream it, whilst it can allow the user full access to how the song is played etc (as long as you add the relevant controls). It also means it works on any browser/OS that supports flash

I've heard of Flash but what tools do I need and how do I get it on the MEDIA page?
