How do I put an avatar here?

When I click under 'user cp' and 'edit avatar' I get one option, already selected and unselectable, saying 'do not use an avatar'.

Nothing I click seems to be able to change that.

I'm sure I'm missing out something...

You mentioned it in your opening post. The User CP.

If you'd read the FAQ (frequently asked questions) you'd know this.
