How do I setup Raid on Abit IP35 Pro?

There's nothing in the manual about it.

I already have vista install on a main boot drive, just want a second raid drive. Do I still have to mess around with floppies?

Nope Vista will recognise the RAID during the installation without needing to load drivers providing you are using the Intel controller.
