I don't think you can post a thread. You can start a thread, you can post the thread starter or you can post the original post in a thread but I don't think you can actually post a thread.

My helpful suggestion above still stands. However, I don't think it can be done.

How the hell do you post a thread starter? Do you have to wrap them up in brown paper and stick loads of stamps to them?

I'd use an insured courier service. Just in case they arrive damaged, I've seen a fair few damaged thread starters.
