HI there

I've got a system here is 2900 1GB crossfire setup and it runs 3D Mark, completes but won't submit the results.

I've tried the /nosysteminfo command which lets 3D Mark run but still can't get a result.

I can save the file but don't know how to extract the info I require, I've done it before but cannot remember the programme I used to read the file.

Hi Gibbo,

Which 3d Mark is it you are trying to run?

With 06 the score shows up after you shut down the small pop up box when it finishes and it shows on *** right hand side.

Also, submission of results is down atm as they are doing work on the database so you cant log in to submit results atm, this is suspecdt is yoru main issue. Should be up today or tomorrow again though.

As for which programme it uses, i think it uses Excel, i seem to remember extracting it once and looking at it with excel once.

Hi there

Just installed 3D Mark 2006 Advanced and that is OK. :)

Am upto 18,500 3D Marks, any good for an aircooled system?

err, as a former holder of a 3d mark record I'm sure you know that's a yes :D

When you say '1GB 2900 crossfire setup' do you mean 2 x 1GB or 2 x 512MB cards? Only the former is technically a 1GB system, as both cards need to store all the textures.

HI there

My 3D Mark record holding days are the 2001 and 2003 editions so I don't have much of a clue whats a good score these days, plus this is just a regular system OcUK will be offering for sale. :)

It is two 1GB 2900 Cards setup in Crossfire. Scoring just past the 18,000 range. :) We are using CAT 7.6 drivers however, system will ship with 7.8 or 7.9 whatever the latest is, do the newer drivers offer improvements for 3D Mark?

There is an increase of 100 points or so with the 7.8s :)

HI there

Not worth re-benching then for 100 points, I am not trying to break any records just getting a feel for the performance on offer. :)

Im sure if you save 3DMARK score as file you need OFFICE EXCEL to view it later, the PRO version is better as you see score at end, not need go online and see all that new spam about hardware etc lol.

You an see your score without *** purchased version, as i said above just close *** box and it appears on the right hand side of the main panel.

Never mind the 3DMark score - 3.8Ghz on a Q6600 - may I have that one when you're done please ;) (What cooling are you using?)

Hi there

Hand on my heart we've literally put a system together, this is the only CPU we've tested, not tried any others yet and its clocking and running great.

Cooling is Tuniq Tower120 and the case is the Antec Nine Hundred. :)

Gibbo

What have you been doing to your Q6600? It only just beats the CPU score for my quad at 3500mhz.

I've got it you are using Vista :D Try it with XP and aim for 19000
