I turned 54 in July. My wife and I never had kids through choice and then medical reasons and we divorced in 2019 so I live on my own. I have been dating on and off pretty much since so that tends to keep me occupied if I so chose. I work to live these days so have the balance about right, finally on that front. There is plenty to do should I wish as I have the means to support most things I might want to do.

However I also like to just sit and read at night, maybe watch the endless collection of movies I acquired and never got around to watching, race my sim with friends, go for a nice long walk, ride my bike, take the car out for a blast around the local area or see friends for a beer or two. I tend to see my girlfriend at weekends so they remain full and if during the week we might dine out or go to a movie or anything else that takes our fancy.

Life is what you make it, my advice is grasp it at all ages but don't listen to anyone else who tells you specifically what you should do with your time.

I’ve managed to get all that into 4 minutes though I replaced my cryochamber with a time machine.

Haha, it's like the retort to fat people who say, "I only eat when I'm bored".

I'm here quite a lot during weekdays, much less often on weekends. A lot of people hang out here while they're at work, and I'm no different in that respect.

Yeah i'd say that too. I'll post when i'm at work on the computer. I rarely log in at weekends unless i get an email notification about a thread i'm following.

Not sure if i've posted, but from finishing work between 5 and 6, i'll generally be quite lazy and sit around watching tv after i've made tea. I try and run in the mornings/lunchtime, but if i haven't i'll try and get out in the evening.

I don't mind watching TV with the wife as there's some company involved. She goes to bed between 8 and 9 though generally and that's when i get bored. I've got less interested in watching things on my own and so seem to be lost until i go to bed. It's a bit late to do anything in the shed, and if i go for a long run it doesn't leave me much time once i'm home to loosen up so i end up waking quite stiff.
Recently i've been unable to run due to an ankle injury and have found myself going for a 60-90 minute bike ride. It's been really enjoyable and doesn't affect my legs the same as running.

These days I collapse into bed at 8pm.

But when the house build and landscaping is done, I plan on watching more movies and collapsing on the sofa at 8.30pm

It's just been an insane year. Almost at an end now and we're hopefully moving into the new house in a couple of weeks.

Prior to the little one being born (3 months ago) we'd watch TV / movies most weekday evenings (used to be out on the weekends).

Since the time thief arrived we tend to get all the stuff done that we couldn't do during the day, so for me its mainly fiddling with model RC cars (I try to race at a club 1-2 nights a week) - for the Mrs it's getting all her lady admin done, looking at Instagram, and planning our house extension at the mo
