Hi,
If there's 6000sq metres of land, and it was a perfect square, would that be just over 75 metres each way or is it worked out a different way?

Thanks

Adam

No they take a cube of the land 1x1x1m in dimension. they then extract all the earthworms from this cubic meter and calculate the surface area of their skin, the size of the field is said to be the surface area of the skin of this 1x1x1m sample of earth from the field.
