How does the 7 day return "rule" work?

I have no idea CD32. I didn't even know private individuals could list stuff on Amazon.

I don't know if Amazon count as the retailer or not, or if they count the same as a credit card provider.

Are you certain they're a private individual? I don't even see a way to sign up to sell as one on Amazon.

Cheers Halk. No neither did I. But having looked there is a "sell your stuff". Yes they are a private. Anyway filed a complaint as I think they may have defaulted on the description being "new" as any warranty should apply & for this warranty I'd need receipt of sale which is non-existent. Tv may be ok but if something is describe as new (esp at £630) then I expect new to include warranty. (Just don't want to be sending back a decent tv either. :( )

might aswell post in here as i cant find it anywhere else.

can I return a phone to an orange store within 7 days, simply because i dont like the colour? there is no fault with it. ta.

I'm still unsure. I had a look at that, and I think you would be selling as a business if you used it.

However you're covered through Amazon's Marketplace anyway, it says you need to contact the seller first though.

If it's covered by the DSR then yes - if you bought it not in the store.

If you bought it in store then no, not unless Orange accepted the return.
