That'd be cool, though - an extra set of fingers partway up your arm. Think of the applications.

For me, about 800mm - assuming my desk is 700mm deep, as I remember it. It may be 70mm thick and I've forgotten the dimensions.

Edit: Brainfart. It's no more than 40mm thick, so it must be 700 deep. About 800mm.
