How fast is the speed of dark?

Think about it, when you switch the light on, you get light speed. When you see lightning you see a flash. When you watch a movie you view pictures. All from light, which is fast light.

But then, when you switch the light off, you get dark speed? When the lightning dissappears, you get darkness. When you switch the television off, you see no pictures.
So then, at what speed is Dark Speed?
I might even be way off, WHAT is the speed of dark?

Is it just simply -299,792,458m/s? How would you measure the speed of dark when the Universe is dark?

Any ideas? :)
 
'dark' is the absence of light, therefore it has no speed, but the velocity at which it appears or dissappears would be the same as the velocity of light in that medium

dark isn't a measureable source :)
 
If light speed is 299,792,458m/s, dark speed is 0m/s.

Dark stays still, light comes and goes :)

The speed of dark?

Darkness is just lack of light. So therefore it will be the same speed as light. As it light disappearing.
 
But hang on, how do you know dark is the absense of light and not the other way round.
As an analogy, is a Zebra white with black stripes or black with white stripes?

Taking the above into consideration then how was light measured, and surely the same can be done to dark. One does not know the boundries of the Universe to make the statement dark is the absense of light! :p

What do you get in space when there is no stars to admit light and heat?

Total darkness.
