This goes to uni and college people alike. Holiday for my uni starts this friday, and i've had an amazing time! (it's my first year). The people are nice, course is fantastic and the town is cool. Bit scared as we get our first essay marks back tomorrow  though we got a 2:1 on our group project :)
So how has it been for you?

Nice one glad to hear your having a good start to your further education! :D

Im just doing my post grad now and the work load in Urban Design has been rather instense but its starting to lighten for the last few weeks of our term before the big internal/external reviews at the end of January!

Good grades for everything so far so I hope that continues, it would be nice to get to do the masters project! :)

Am not at University, but I graduated from Bournemouth in 2004. I had the time of my life so enjoy it you lucky sod! :p

My uni time was good only because of the girl I met there and the insane amount of free time that was available (a pretty awesome combination), the course was pants :p

Once again I'm swamped with work and have left it to the last minute. I'm without a job this term also so i'm especially poor. So, not great.

Ups and downs. I have made a mistake going to this college, and can't wait to quit next yr to do a BTEC as opposed to 3 a levels. I seriously can't wait. I have no motivation for any subject bar Photography and the teachers are all stuck up there own ass, bar one.
Met some cool people though, and its been a massive learning curve for me. I went being very naive, and it has changed me as a person massively.

This is mainly due to my attitude to people from other races, particulary Asians. I went , not knowing any, and wanting to in a way. I wouldn't say i was racist, but peoples opinions of them in my town made me think like that, and now i have completely changed. The two nicest people i have met are asian, and im ashamed to say i was like this. Really :(

2nd Year Mechanical Engineering. I thought the first year was tough. We're finalising and tying up loose bits in our modules before breaking up on Friday. Absolutely love the course. Can't get enough of it. Have I learnt my lesson from the 1st year? Yes I have. And what lesson was that? A lot less partying, a lot more studying.

Sem 4 starting in Jan is meant to be rock hard. And it only gets harder people say. Roll it on

Its gone quickly - much quicker than any previous term (final year physics). Final year project is going alright, and have 'possibly' landed a job for next year, but my god its hard - looking forward to landing a job and doing something different!

EDIT: ^^So, so true... Unfortunately, it only gets harder...

First Semester has gone super quick

Course is great (1st year in Computing Science), met some awesome people. Handed in my last assignment today, got a demo to give tomorrow, two exams on Thursday and one on Friday. Really looking forward to Friday - will be the longest Christmas holiday I've ever had :D

I have learnt this semester that I really shouldn't leave things until the last minute (or at least a week or two before things are due in). Next semester I'll try to change that :)

Really looking forward to next semester. :)

Well, deadline tomorrow and yet again i'm loading up on coffee for a late nighter. At least this time i'm not up all night because i've left it way too late; i want this to be perfect, it could have been finished hours ago.

First term in College has been fun, all setteled in and im preparing for some exams in January.

The college i go to is good and the people are great as are the courses and teachers.

slightly worried about a production in media i have to do early next year but it should be okay when i get to it.

good topic, :)

just started my first of 2 years of A levels. taking Biology, chemistry, maths, further maths and physics @ AS .. not the easiest combination but i'm hoping it'll pay off in the long run. been a difficult term tbh especially physics to start but i kept up with the workload, plenty of notes etc. and now have bought myself a few good revision guides so i think i'm well set for my first lot of exams in January.

coming to the end of term 1 of my final year doing criminology! LOVE it this year. the units are great and they all work so well together. Get some marks back over the xmas holidays so i shall see if my enthusiasm has paid off!

First term's been good, I'm ready to go back home for Christmas now though which will be this Sunday.

coming to the end of my 1st term of my last year at Uni doing music. Got a 2500 word essay and 5 min composition in for next tuesday :o

As good as it is and has been i'm getting bored of being a student now and just want to start earning some money and stop fart assing about.
