Zulu and The Hurt Locker are too long, but you loved A Knight's Tale.
I'm out.
I'm not a huge fan of Zulu, I like it, probably just seen it too much, The Hurt Locker was just trying to seem deep, when it was a guy going in to defuse bombs, badly, and was rather crap with almost nothing too it. Knights tale is rather rubbish, silly fun, not terrible, no where near great.
But then he said ALL the Die Hard films were great, first two were fantastic action films, superb, the third, passable but passing into silly territory, oh, its WAY over the silly line but just watchable.
The fourth film, is excruciatingly bad, its pathetic, start to finish, theres nothing redeeming about it, awful story, awful acting, fat guy director who can't act getting in on the act, ridiculous action, just horrible.
Personally I tend to feel too many good films could have been great if they spent more time establishing characters, and reasons behind actions being taken. There are far more films that are too short to tell their story properly, than films that are too long and wasteful. I prefer longer films with better deeper more complex stories, you rarely have one without the other.
