How long do your tyres last?

Just curious, really! I'm about to have the fronts on my Honda replaced and they'll have done about 23k of service. Doesn't seem bad for a fairly heavy FWD saloon with a driver who sometimes likes to corner enthusiastically

Rears weren't new when I bought the car so I don't know how much use they'd had when I replaced them

Fronts around 10k (Asymmetric / Ultrac Sessanta / GSD3's)

Rears around 15 - 20k (Same tyres as above)

All 4 of mine are coming off and being replaced shortly, so 8500-9000.

They have had an airfield day on them though!

23k sounds like a hell of a lot of miles for FWD fronts though!

They're Goodyear NCT5s, so theyr'e a little bit "eco-bollocksy" I think! They're not too bad.. But a bit noisy and poor in the wet so I'm not getting them again

I would say 23k is about on the nail for hard rubber driven semi-hard.

I'd say 23k is pretty impressive personally! My fronts have never lasted beyond 15-20k. GSD3s - Skoda Octavia vRS circa 210bhp

almost exactly the same.

i have sessantas all round and have since i first started replacing the tyres it came with 2nd hand.

My first set of tyres that came with my Civic did over 20k on the front before I changed them, absolutely awful tyres for grip, just changed the Eagles F1s I had put on after 12k.

Still got the originals on the back 2 wheels after 32k and still have about 6mm tread on them.

Vauxhall Vectra, fronts did 25k ~ rear 28k.

Lease company put Michelin tyres on.

Fronts were changed ~22k, original Rears are still going strong at 34k. Skoda Fabia VRS.

Might be worth you trying a set of Asymmetrics next time, i much prefer them to the sessantas.

First set of PS2s = 11k. Managed to eek 14k out of the second set.
I think 8-12k is about right.

Rears just seem to last indefinitely.

rear about 3500-4000 in winter, about 3000 in summer... front about double that

I've had less than 3k from some Avons on my old Golf, I did drive hard almost all the time, not flooring it in first or anything though.
I'm never never buying Avon's again.
A similar style of driving got me 10k on Sport Contact 2's.

Fronts about 20k and rears about 8k, on Eagle F1 Asymmetrics.

PS2s managed about 24k and 12k, and they probably had a harder cycle!

13k on the back, had about 17k out the fronts so far and plenty of tread left.
