I simply ask because I want to order something online but the money won't be in my account until saturday.

I don't think it has a set time. Some take longer than others. I remember Sainsbury's used to debit my account on friday evenings no matter when I went in. Not sure if that is still the case.

assumption is the mother of all **** ***

:)

p.s. murphy says itll be taken 2 minutes after youve actually done the deed

Any chance you could let me know how long OcUK takes?

Sorry I realise this is shop talk and understand if it's not possible.

It's not possible as I don't work for OcUK and it is unlikely that anyone with the knowledge will be browsing at this time :)

I Always thought that it was a couple of days later as most (or a lot) of systems aren't really 'live' as such, and there has to be some kind of double check that may mean actual bits of paper being sent about the place. I may be totally wrong in this case but they seem to take about 3-5 days which seems slow for modern electronic transactions

Whenever i have brought with my debit card(natwest) of ocuk its gone straight away.

Ta mate :)

I have a budget overdraft of £50 but don't want to get into the habit of using this.

Only asking this because the Logitech G15 is on sale at OcUK lol :D
